Music Director Valentina Peleggi conducts Brahms’ lyrical Second Symphony, and Francesca Dego is the soloist in the Violin Concerto of Ferruccio Busoni. No less a romantic than Brahms, who echoes throughout this concerto, Busoni was a singular voice, an iconoclast who composed music for the future.
